Missing you like crazy

Here’s some pics from the cruise that I think you’ll like. We talk about you all the time. I made dad stand in front of the Hot Dog place. I remember you liking the food and stopping in often. The cruise has way exceeded my expectations. We really struggle with so many ages and varying interests that it seems like everyone is pretty happy on this cruise. It brings back a ton of memories from our first cruise with Gma and Gpa horsley in 2014. Same cruise line. We’ve met all sorts of hard core cruisers. Today we met a couple who have been on 51 cruises together. Whoa! That’s insane. They go for multiple weeks at a time. While this has been a great experience, you’ll never find me going on 51 cruises with Dad! Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. Gwen has warmed up to the flow rider and loves laying out. Jane wants to visit the kids club every day and gets an ice cream cone every time we pass. Henry and McKay have been having a great time together. It’s been fun to watch their relationship build. Henry won 1st place in the teenage speed rock climbing event today. He’s is proud of his metal! It’s keeps us laughing at dinners with his kid menu orders and disgust for anything outside of his comfort zone. McKay has been working hard on his 720 surf trick on the flow rider. He almost got it tonight. Dads a trooper. We really hit the jackpot with his patience, love and desire to bring the family together. We are really looking forward to talking to you. Someone brings it up at every meal! My heart has been with you this week. I’m anxious to know what has been on your mind. One thing about you is that you give freely of your heart. I think that’s why change and transitions are difficult. I hope I didn’t ask a bad question last week about if you’d ever been so discouraged you’d thought about going home? I’m so so sorry if that hit you weird. Sometimes I am just trying to get a gage to know how you are doing. It’s really hard to read the super hard times for you and I think that was a bad question to ask. So please know it was only out of love. You have had some rough waters on your mission and I hope we’ve been there for you as much as you needed us. It’s so hard to properly communicate when we are so far apart. I am, however, so extremely grateful for the phone call and to see your cute face each week! I hope our package made it ok?? Fingers crossed! And I pray that you felt our love. I’m also hoping that your week was busy and you found people you are excited to teach. I got a sweet email back from one of the office sisters. I’ll have to forward it to you. They don’t seem to know or have no way of giving us a date as to your returning home. You’ll see in the email I got from the mission. Anyway, I am so thankful to be your mom. You make me very proud. Keep up the great work. You are doing great things. Finish strong. No regrets. Your time is slipping away! Be like a sponge. You will use your mission experience and the testimony you’ve built for the rest of your life! And PS…your journal is a great place to work through frustrations, sadness, and feelings…use it!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love you tons! Mom
