We got Mookie home!

Calder!!! Highlight of the week (other than our Monday call with you) was getting McKay home. It was so weird to have you and McKay so far from home!! Here’s the pics of the week: Henry’s basketball camp buddies: The naughty class - Henry was upset after a class of throwing balls and boys being naughty…just like he was when he was their age! 😂 I heard a little knock on the bathroom door the other morning and this was what was on the other side 😂 Truth be told…I’ve been wearing this neck brace. I’ve been struggling with my shoulder and neck. I am and the up and up and not sporting the neck brace anymore. Thank goodness! Pedis with the girls for LP. I think Gwen got an ingrown toenail brewing from the pedicure - ugh. Bad timing for LP! Zoom in on Jane’s welcome home note. Super cute! Fun to welcome him home. It was a great trip. He worked hard and was thrashed. Guess who Jane’s favorite is? McKay seeing Topher for the first time. It was a great reunion. The best quote was from McKay “you’re the only person I feel short around” This was a hot topic button couple to sit by at dinner. We went to Jay’s 50th bday and Topher’s welcome home. It was really fun. There was an Apollo burger truck and waffle love truck. Scott and Marcelle came into town for the party. It was great to see them! The man of the hour. Jay is the best! So grateful for him. The photo bomber….amiright? The business: we sent you shoes, the highlighter, two &collar shirts, target pants and stance socks. If anything doesn’t work out for you, send it home and I’ll take care of it. I hope that’s what you need. Think about it snd let’s make it a point to go over tomorrow when we chat. We made it to LP tonight. It has all the usual feels…overwhelming mixed with excitement for what’s ahead. We are launching at 5AM! Kill me now. Tomorrow’s going yo be a rough one. The rumors are true…the water is low, but we are going to have a great time. I had to chance to ride down with grandma. It was awesome having that time to chat. She’s a great lady! Dad was in the truck with Grandpa, Henry and Maddie. Gwen, McKay, Jane, and grandma. 9 people, two cars, one boat. It has been epic! We are super glad that Chad and Cec let Maddie come!!! We are missing you like crazy! I really can’t wait to be in LP with you again. I’m dying to hear about the baptism! I’m praying that all went well. Such a fun time! So proud of you and all you are doing. So excited for the adventure ahead. Can’t wait to chat with you tomorrow. Sending all my love😍🥰❣️ Love you tons!! Mom ❤️

Dear Calder.... I'm finally getting to my letter. Whoa...it's been a busy last week for me, but first....the pics: Pic #1- the newly engaged couple. We are fans of Kylie. And Eth is such a great one. I know this process has been really difficult for Chad and Cec, but she's a keeper. I think it's just tricky to pave the path and Ethan is just a bit of a spacer and so he's really put Cecily in some awkward situations. I think hearts can be healed and hurts can be mended, but it's going to take some time to let go and give it to their Savior. They will all get there. Eth and Kylie came over for hot coco before they walked to the park. I felt so honored that we were included like that. This pic was taken when they returned. So fun. So happy. I'm excited. The Wedding

Well, it happened. Ethan got married. We missed you like crazy! It was such a classic Ethan! First of all, he had a forest green suit. Kylee chose super earthy colors, so Ethan got into it and wore a super snazzy green suit. It was hilarious. The wedding started on Friday at 2pm. It was one of the best sealing ceremonies that I've ever been to. The sealer was one of our favorites that we've gotten to know through the years at the temple. The wedding was a little discombobulated though because we went to the temple, took pictures and then we had to wait until the next day at 2pm in Provo to celebrate. So, we went to Cafe Trang after the temple with our family and Gma, Gpa, Hunter and Tyler. Then they came over on Friday night. It was really nice of Tyler to come up for the wedding. When we were sitting in the temple it was so strange. I was looking around wondering where everyone was. It was just me and Dad there supporting Chad and Cec...no other family members ...

Deep In the Ice Fields of Texas!

I mean...the damage I'm seeing is for REAL! Wow! I am so excited to hear more details from you tomorrow. What a crazy turn of events in Texas. I hope you've weathered the storm and have had opportunities to serve and help those around you. As far as the Draper Horsley clan goes...everyone seems to be doing well.. McKay got his ACT score back this week. He did great and I am super proud of him. He took it without much studying. We never pulled the BYU ACT study class together and when I finally got in touch with Cara, so encouraged us to sign up for the February 6th date, even though it was just a couple of weeks away. McKay met with Cara a handful of times and got a 32. I think he feels good about it. I'll send a pic of his score breakdown. Now we just need to get him on the BYU bandwagon. He's pulling a bit of the Calder "BYU is kind of dumb" thing right now. I think he'll figure it out... Henry is keeping things upbeat and silly. He...
