Lots of Pictures...busy week!

It was so good to talk to you for a minute tonight. Can't wait to talk more tomorrow. I'll give you a bunch of pics from this week... Pic1 = got your apostel letter FINISHED up. I need to mail it. But then I had that terrible dream. And it's been SOOOO busy. My goal is to mail it before we talk tomorrow. I thought my pic was so artistic at the Capitol building with the lions - hah. Pic 2 = Dad's new truck. He's quite excited. It is a good looking truck. I am happy for him. It's super funny though because it has this safety device when you back up, it's like a UPS truck with a "beeping" noise until you're back in drive. It kind of takes away from the cool factor, but it's fun to make fun of. Pic 3 = Another Art Market visit to buy one of Kimberly's pies. It was so fun and I am so proud of all the hard work she puts into her little business. She's doing great things. Pic 4 = Jane's mermaid party. We had 8 kids, including Jane. Two came after the picture was taken. It was a lot of fun. I think Jane was a little under the weather. I think she was teetering on an ear infection. Such a bummer. A fly landed on her head shortly after this picture was taken and it threw her into a crying fit. I was so frustrated . I'd worked so hard and this party was so awesome and she was sitting on the steps for the first 10 minutes crying. It only went up from there, luckily. Pic 5-12 = PROM pics. McKay's date's name was Marcy. She was hilarious. Her parents weren't there and she loved taking pics. She kept asking if I would take more pictures of her and McKay. As you might have guessed, McKay was loving all the pics - hah! I had to include so many because it was making me laugh to look over them tonight! Towards the end, McKay grabbed Mark and the other guy (can't remember his name). I think he wanted an out from all the cheesy date picture taking. It was awesome. I think he really enjoyed the dance and had fun with Macey but if he'd go back again, he'd ask someone else. He's so funny. I think he was just super tired from his race earlier that day. I'm sure Dad gave you the rundown on that. Pci 13 = BIRTHDAY PICS - the classic eating on the "You Are Special" plate. We had a quick waffles and bacon breakfast and tried to rush out to church. We fasted last week in preparation for the big day. Not gonna lie...it was nice to listen to fast and testimony meeting without feeling so hungry! Lunch consisted of steak (Jane's request) and fettucini (Henry's request). It was super good. The day was busy with church, meetings, CFM, presents, lunch and the family party. I'm going to say that we celebrated and celebrated and celebrated! And I'm good. Pic 14 = We had a big gathering with family from both sides to wish happy birthday. It was fun. Grandma and Grandpa Calder came early to bring presents to Henry and Jane. Grandpa in his usual fun fashion made a special present for Henry. Frozen money ... or cold hard cash! And treats that he'd frozen. It was fun. I don't have a pic of the entire group, but I know Dad does and probably sent it along. It was a fun party. Pci 15 = And we ended the night with a visit from our favorite Jaxson Roberts. I love him. He's doing so good. He's heavy into tennis and killing it. Remember last year when you and Henry were starting your tennis career? And it was ruined by COVID!!! Boo! Anyway, it's been a great week. Busy, busy. I am so tired from all of the partying. May is a crazy month. There's something every weekend to celebrate. But what I'm most looking forward to is watching the baptisms this month! So fun to hear about Lincoln and Freeman and Cornealis. Great things are happening. Keep up the awesome work. So glad you are not hurt worse from the car accident. What a crazy couple of weeks you've had. We are praying for you. I am going to redouble my efforts on prayers on your behalf. I know the Lord is watching over you and He's the best at it! Love you TONS! Mom PS: Your bank account is at 525- ish. You should be good to go..
