Happy Thanksgiving!

Calder! I'm so excited to talk tomorrow! I just look so forward to Mondays now. It's been a bit of a crazy week. I was able to get our Christmas cards uploaded as well as a Calder Christmas Calendar. But the greatest thing I got done was a thanksgiving package sent to you! I hope you get it tomorrow! But more importantly, I hope that you like it! Needless to say, I've been the worst writer this week. Darn...so sorry! Hopefully you were so busy that you didn't notice. I guess I did write one day to tell you about Blake. I actually ran into his sister Ally on a walk on Thursday. It was fun to talk to her. She said that he was very excited. Such great news. I've included some pictures from McKay's birthday. It was a nice day. Super low key but he was easy. We went to a Ramen place for dinner...the same place we went when we saw the lights at Thanksgiving point. It was fun but we missed you. I thought you'd like the pics from Sally's bday party. She and McKay share a birthday and in true Simmons' style, it was a serious party! The theme was "dogs" because she loves dogs. It was complete with dog houses and dog food to eat out of bowls. Jane had a great time. My other two pictures were from Instagram stalking. Carli asked me to follow me on insta a while ago, so we now follow each other. I thought you'd like to see that you made the missionary post and that she used your saying "10/9" about the talk she posted. SO fun. Did you love the message from President Nelson?! It was so amazing. What inspired words. I loved the way he highlighted the healing that comes from gratitude. I also love in Ether 6:12/Come Follow Me when the jaredites arrive in the promised land they gave thanks because of the "multitude of his tender mercies over them." They didn't give thanks that they arrived but for the hand of the Lord in leading and helping them on their way. I'm super grateful for you! Your facebook post was a total highlight of my week. Keep up the great work. You're doing great things and changing lives. Love you TONS! MOM
