Week Four Complete!

Calder!!! We've been praying for Krannah, Karleen, Draelyn, Richard and Jim. Any progress? I can't wait to hear about the exciting/crazy stories this week. I hope they don't involve your new companionship roommates. And I am praying that the trainer is much better than you'd heard! And BTW - I thought your picture of Jesus was great! In fact, all your pictures were stellar last week. I kind of gave you updates throughout the week of the happenings. We made it home safely from St George...although we had a serious blessing just outside of St George when a big truck hauling a trailer/Razor lost its front tire. Seriously...the front passenger tire just flew off and was flug all over the freeway. The tire eventually hit the back of the trailer, bounced into the middle and on to the southbound freeway oncoming cars. We were literally right behind the truck and slowed way down. There were other cars and campers that were to the side but miraculously nobody was hit. It was super intense. Last week I was just in front of an accident that happened on 13th east near 106th south. Both times it was too close for comfort. And both times I felt like I had just missed a bad accident. There is no denying that I was watched over last week and that our family was watched over today. #soblessed On the way home from St George we had the opportunity to listen to Christian Riser's talk in church. It was an outstanding talk. He spoke about never being happier in his life than he was right now. He absolutely loved his home MTC time and encouraged those in the audience who were thinking of serving a mission to do so. They wouldn't regret it. He said a very sweet thing along the lines of "I am that kid in the back of the class with a black hoddie pulled up that no one thought would serve a mission and here I am today. Thank you to all those who never gave up on me." I'll try to get his talk. I think you'd really enjoy reading it. So I had to snap these pictures of Dad. He's so funny. We had a couple of zoom meetings in St George and this (pic 1) was just before Dad had a priest quorum presidency meeting today. I don't know if it was the orange shoes that really topped it off or what. After the meeting, he changed into this cute gray ensemble that definitely deserved a photo (pic 2). The best part was when we were packing up the car at the same time as the Pogues and Andersons. I thought I liked Noah Pogue before but when he called out Dad for his "sweet gray jumpsuit" I about died laughing. Look for your Halloween package. I was delivered to the mission home on Friday. I hope you get it soon. Message us and let us know when you'll be calling tomorrow. We cleared the day and look forward to continuing our discussion from last week. We are praying for you and Elder Leonardson to find those who are ready and willing to let God prevail. We are also working on letting God prevail in our lives here in Draper. I am so very proud of you and what you are doing. I know it doesn't seem like you are being used to your full capacity at times, but the Lord is shaving off rough edges and molding you into his ideal servant right now. Hang in there and let God prevail. I love you with all my heart! Love you tons! Mom
